Kathleen Maiden
Kathleen “Kathy” Fallon Maiden has over 35 years experience in the financial services industry. She has an MBA from West Virginia University and also a Bachelors degree in International and Slavic Studies. She has been a licensed insurance agent in WV since 2004 and holds reciprocal licenses in the State of VA and MD.
Kathy has also taught International Business as an adjunct professor at Shepherd University since 2010 combining a love of travel, business, and education. Having visited 26 countries and growing, she has a sincere appreciation of different cultures and Maiden Insurance has become a niche of cultural diversity in Jefferson County WV. You will find a map of the world in her office and her clients come from all over the globe. Understanding different values and what people hold dear to them assist her in helping her clients protect their most valuable assets.
Kathy is the mother of 4 children, Leigh, Patrick, Ryan and Ben Maiden. She is an avid tennis player competing on the USTA circuit year round. She is a devoted Mountaineer fan and loves to attend live sporting events, whether it be a Nationals baseball game or taking in a Shepherd University basketball game. One of the highlights of her professional career was winning a trip to the Superbowl in 2012 through Erie Insurance.
Patrick Maiden
Pat Maiden is known for his creative, outside-the-box approach to insurance. With broad knowledge across all lines of coverage, he excels at finding the right fit for clients—often through specialty and non-traditional carriers clients may not know exist. Pat is especially focused on helping clients save money while ensuring their coverage truly fits their life. Patrick is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Business Administration Marketing.
Leigh Maiden Nussio
After a career in Washington, D.C. working in politics and public affairs, Leigh returned home to Jefferson County with her husband to start a small farmette in Ranson. She now brings her background in communications, strategy, and community engagement to Maiden Insurance, guiding the agency’s brand, outreach, and local presence. In her free time, Leigh cares for her menagerie of animals—including Scout, Maiden Insurance’s unofficial mascot. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University and holds her Masters degree in National Defense and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
Iveta Weiand
Ivetta has been a valued member of the Maiden Insurance team for several years. Originally from Latvia and now raising her family locally, she brings a wealth of insurance knowledge and plays a key role in servicing policies and maintaining long-term client relationships. She speaks English, Latvian, Russian, and German fluently and holds her Bachelor’s degree in Business from Shepherd University.
Oscar Rodriguez
Oscar Rodriguez is a Jefferson County native and a bilingual member of the Maiden Insurance team, fluent in both English and Spanish. Often the first voice clients hear when calling the office, Oscar helps ensure every client feels welcomed, understood, and supported. He is licensed to sell and service your family’s insurance needs.
McKenzie Brady
McKenzie Brady comes from a multi-generation Jefferson County farm family and understands the unique needs of local residents. She is licensed in all lines of property and casualty insurance as well as life insurance, and she is especially well-suited to serve families and farms throughout the area.
